Our Mission

The Chamber Music Ensemble Camarada is dedicated to presenting invigorating performances of musical masterworks. Established in 1994, Camarada's goal is to create an inviting and expansive artistic experience for audiences. Camarada concerts share the joy of chamber music by pairing performers of the highest caliber with intimate spaces throughout San Diego.

The Chamber Music Ensemble Camarada is dedicated to presenting refreshing performances of musical gems throughout San Diego. Our mission is to create a complete artistic experience, which touches all of the senses in order to reach our audience at the deepest level. We accomplish this with great music, great musicians, beautiful spaces, a warm and inviting atmosphere and camaraderie between performers and audience members. The artistic experience starts with the programming of the music. We take great care in selecting pieces that are amazing and enticing by themselves, but performed in the context of the concert are an integral part of the entire concert masterpiece. Then we collaborate with artists in visual art, dance and theater to further complete the masterpiece. Performing in intimate venues in the San Diego area, Camarada creates a concert experience that uplifts our audience and provides San Diego with a cultural energy that is vital to a healthy & vibrant community.
