The Chamber Music Ensemble
Camarada presents flute and guitar music from the Beatles
to Rhavi Shankar, in conjunction with another call for
Mail Art
The vibrations of blown reed and plucked string are
fundamental to the human musical experience – so
much so that every culture has created music with these
elements. The Western flute and guitar will be our guides
on a tour of this music, across the continents and through
the centuries.
To celebrate George Harrison’s enormous contribution
to the success of the world’s most famous group,
Camarada will present a display of Beatles-themed “mail
art” – postcards and other works of art mailed
sans envelope with the good-natured support of local
post offices.
