Camarada Closes 30th Anniversary Season with The Beatles in All You Need is Love

Jazz legend Peter Sprague and renowned vocalist Rebecca Jade lead a tour through The Beatles’ greatest hits, followed by a musical afterparty celebrating 30 years of Camarada.

San Diego, CA (April 2, 2025) — Following their sold-out performance of Charlie Brown Jingles & JAZZ, Peter Sprague and the Camarada team return to the Conrad Prebys Performing Camarada for All You Need is Love, a program filled with hits by The Beatles. The evening will feature brand-new, jazz-infused arrangements by Sprague himself, performed alongside vocalist Rebecca Jade, flutist and Camarada Artistic Director Beth Ross Buckley, Tripp Sprague on flute and saxophone, Mackenzie Leighton on double bass, Danny Green on piano, and Duncan Moore on drums. Audiences will recognize these familiar tunes melded seamlessly with an improvisational jazz twist, celebrating the musical legacy of The Beatles in an evening of music, creativity, and of course, love.

Directly following All You Need is Love, Camarada will host the Camarada 30th Anniversary AfterParty in the JAI at the Conrad Prebys Performing Arts Center. Tickets can be purchased separately from the preceding concert on the Camarada website. The evening will include performances by Andrés Martín on solo double bass, The Camarada Tango Quartet, and narration by Robert John Hughes. Hors d'oeuvres and a light dinner will be served buffet-style, accompanied by wine and prosecco. A cash bar will be open for specialty cocktails. General admission patron tickets are available for $250, and reserved table seating is available for $300. Proceeds will go towards supporting Camarada’s mission to present world-class chamber music concerts, commission new works of art and music, and expand access to the arts across the San Diego-Tijuana region.
