Camarada Kids introduces school children to the joy of live chamber music through an interactive performance program with professional musicians.

Camarada Kids performances introduce students to many instruments and composers: classical, jazz, and folk. The performances give students a historical perspective introducing them to classic and contemporary composers. We customize our performance programming and length to each young audience. These children’s programs are very lively and engaging.

In the spring of 2011 Thomas C. Ackerman Foundation funded the launching of The Harmony Project at The New Children’s Museum in downtown San Diego. Paint a Piece, Camarada’s first series of programs was very well received by our young audiences. Our musical performances inspired many colorful and playful works of children’s art.
