music by/for/about women

Celebrating the creativity of women composers, Music SHE Wrote is an ode to the power of artistic expression and a tribute to the indomitable spirit of female creators. Highlights include Libby Larsen’s Quartet She Wrote, dedicated to the harmonious celebration of female prowess, and Fanmi Imèn for flute and piano by Valerie Coleman, which weaves together a rich tapestry of emotions and cultures. Extraordinary soprano Tasha Koontz joins Camarada to perform works by Amy Beach and songs from the American Songbook. Composers Carlisle Floyd and Gabriela Lena Frank are also spotlighted in this celebration of music by, for, and about women.
